Grace Sharing in Memory of Forest

In April, we honor Forest, our stillborn “rainbow.” We keep his memory alive regularly by sharing publicly how we are grieving and constantly holding grief with joy, especially after Pregnancy After Loss. We take time for his birthday each year to rest, celebrate, and remember him; looking for him always in our every day. We also grieve not being able to conceive again after welcoming Forest’s little sister.

In my Return to Zero BIPOC Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group I became very close with a couple of the other women who attended and have since gone through pregnancy after loss and now parenting after loss with two of them. I consider them sisters and know we will be lifelong friends.

HOW TO HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN FOREST’S HONOR

Pregnancy and infant loss is a unique type of loss, leaving the grievers to feel isolated and unsure of how to move forward. We'd be grateful if you would consider making a contribution to RTZ HOPE. Your gift ensures that other parents who endure loss on their journey to parenthood have the support, resources, and community they need in order to navigate life after loss.

With your support in 2023 (Annual Report) RTZ HOPE continued to fulfill our mission of serving over 250,000 bereaved parents and the healthcare providers who support them through a variety of free and reduced fee programs and offerings.
